Netcasts & streamed radio:

  1. BBC Radio1

The UK's BBC Radio is simply the best - setting the global standard for dance music on public radio. We recommend Pete Tong's show on a Friday evening. Fergie is two hours later, normally features some excellent guests. Then it's Fabio & Grooverider Drum'n'Bass show - the best of Liquid Funk. Seb Fontaine's show on Sat evening is smooth and deep progressive house grooves. Much later, at 01h00 is the legendary Essential Mix - generally a contemporary DJ. Annie Nightingales 3-hour show on a Sunday morning is not to be missed, always a treat there. Late on a Wednesday night is Giles Peterson and his World Wide show - ecelectic & jazzy house beats always enjoyable. There's also John Peel three times as week as well as The Breezeblock on Monday night. They stream in variable rate Real Audio and their bandwidth is good (esp. late at night). All the shows are 'On Demand' meaning you can listen again at your leisure.

  2. BBC London

Another BBC treat - Norman Jay's 3-hour 'Giant 45' show on Sunday nights is a classic legend and it's always a treat: "The show fuses the best of today's current dancefloor styles with the best of yesterday's forgotten classics". Just the thing for those Sunday night blues. Tuesday evenings is Sean Rowley, Wednesday night is Gary Crowley, Thursday is Ranking Miiss P Rythm'n'Blues show. Friday night is Sean again with the Friday Juke Box, and Saturday evening is Gary Crowley and then Charlie Gillet. Some shows are recorded for on-demand listening. RealAudio

  3. Radio Fritz

Every Wednesday night on Berlin's Radio Fritz is Paul Van Dyk's two hour Sound Garden - it's in German of course but the tunes are good, sometimes interviews in Engilsh.
